How should I set up my CosmoGlo Light for the best performance?Updated 9 hours ago

Ideal Setup Tips for CosmoGlo Lights

Your CosmoGlo Light is more than just equipment, it’s a professional tool and sleek salon furniture. Setting it up correctly ensures the best performance and safety in your space. Here’s how to get the most out of your light.

General Setup Guidelines:

  • CosmoGlo Lights are most stable at lower height settings. The closer the light is to your client, the brighter and more focused it will be.

  • Avoid overextending the telescoping poles. The light relies on internal pole overlap and gravity to remain stable. Too much height can lead to swinging or leaning.

  • Use your shoulder for leverage when tightening the top halo connection. Make sure the connection is fully secure.

  • Re-tighten the screws in the base after final positioning to lock everything in place.

  • Always place your light on a flat, hard-surfaced floor. Carpet or uneven floors can cause instability and potential damage to the internal wires.

  • Never place heavy objects on top of the base.

Optimizing Your Space:

  • The CosmoGlo Original was initially designed for use over flat lash or facial beds, with the base directly below the halo.

  • The CosmoGlo XL was released to give added height for those who prefer to use recliners, tattoo chairs, or adjustable beds—just make sure to reposition the base and adjust the halo accordingly!

  • CosmoGlo Lights work best when the weight of the halo is centered above the base.
